YouTube also allows for voice search using the same interface that Google uses for its other products. This applies across all devices you're signed in on with your Google account. It also lets you access your history, what you've marked to watch later, subscriptions, history, and playlists with a tap or swipe of the screen. The benefits of signing are that you will get personalized recommendations in the What to Watch section.
You can either chose to sign in with your Google account (which allows you to like and share videos, as well as comment in the app) or use the YouTube app as a guest. There's also the option to share the videos via Google+, Twitter, Facebook and SMS, change the quality, add to watch later, or add to a playlist (which can be private or public). While you're watching videos, you can minimize them in the corner of your screen so you can browse other content at the same time.
